Lucha Underground (May 27, 2015)

I continue to watch and review the random wrestling shit I have saved on an external hard drive for whatever reason with another episode from Lucha Underground’s first season. The back half of this has honestly been a bit more hit or miss then the opening part of the season but they still have it in them to knock it out of the park from time to time so let’s see if this week’s episode is an all-timer or a bunch of crap with one or two “it was fine for a TV wrestling match,” matches.

Lucha Underground (May 20, 2015)

Randomly went and watched the next episode of Lucha Underground during my lunch break this week. This is the May 20, 2015 episode. I know the trios titles are on the line in a ladder match but other than that I’ve no clue what to expect so let’s go check it out!

Lucha Underground (May 6, 2015)

I think this year I’m finally going to get around to finish off reviewing the first season of Lucha Underground. I don’t really know why it’s taken me as long as it has since I generally like the shows and I’ve had the entire thing sitting on a hard drive forever. I guess that’s one of the downsides to the completely scattershot fashion in which I consume professional wrestling: I’ll start on something but then end up getting distracted by some other show or promotion and lose track of what I was watching before. Whatever the reason is I’ve got 13 episodes left after this one so I think if I can manage an episode or two a week I can knock the rest of the season off during my lunch breaks in a couple months. So let’s get to today’s episode!

Lucha Underground (April 29, 2015)

In my ongoing effort to clear out my hard drive of wrestling shows I’ve not watched I head back to Season 1 of Lucha Underground. This is the April 29, 2015 episode. Don’t really have anything else to say up top about it so let’s get down to business.

TNA The Best Damn Wrestling Event Period – Night 2 (November 11, 2004)

I’m going to go ahead and watch Night 2 of TNA’s Best Damn Wrestling Event Period. The first one wasn’t all that great and I have zero expectations that this one is going to be any better, especially since this one guarantees us at least two matches featuring the hosts of the Best Damn Sports Show Period in action. That being said, the thing I most like watching and reviewing on this site are the weird one-offs and there’s nothing weirder than a one-off crossover with a late night sports talk show. So let’s get to it.

TNA The Best Damn Wrestling Event Period – Night 1 (November 10, 2004)

So way back in 2004, TNA called Fox Sports Net home. As a bit of cross-promotion the powers that be allowed TNA to air two nights of special wrestling based installments of another Fox Sports Net program, The Best Damn Sports Show Period. I’ve never seen an episode of that particular program but Wikipedia tells me that it “regularly featured irreverent and opinionated interviews with top athletes, coaches, celebrities, and entertainers,” and based on the stuff on this episode that seems to be a fair description of the show. Anyway this had actual matches on it and it was only an hour long so I figured I give it a watch as it’s something I’ve never actually seen before.

XWF Episode #2 (November 13, 2001)

Might as well watch the second episode of the XWF. The first one, while not great by any stretch of the imagination also wasn’t so awful as to put me off from watching the remainder of the series so let’s get to it.

Lucha Underground (April 8, 2015)

The last couple of episodes of Lucha Underground I’ve watched have largely been pretty solid wrestling shows so I guess I might as well watch another episode of Lucha Underground and see what sort of wild-ass lucha action they’ve got for me this go round.

NWA:TNA Weekly PPV #53 (July 16, 2003)

I continue to haphazardly make my way through IMPACT Wrestling’s 20 year history with another one of their weekly PPVs, specifically the July 16, 2003 show from the Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee. Don’t know anything about it save for the fact that it’s about a month after the one year anniversary show I watched a few weeks back.

TNA Destination X 2005 (March 13, 2005)

So I continue my foray into being a guy who only watches IMPACT Wrestling today with a look at Destination X 2005 coming to us live from the IMPACT Zone in Orlando, Florida. I think I’m going to go through the random IMPACT shows that are available in full on IMPACT’s YouTube channel along with the random stuff of questionable legality I have on an external hard drive in chronological order and this one seems to be the oldest one that I’ve not reviewed already so it seems as good a place as any to start so let’s get to it.
