WWE SmackDown (October 28, 2011)

Why am I watching this random episode of SmackDown from 2011? Because 2011 was one of those periods when I just wasn’t watching wrestling. I decided to fill in some chronological gaps in my knowledge solely using stuff that’s on YouTube and when I typed in WWE 2011 this came up instead of the random episode of Superstars or Main Event or whatever C-Show they were airing in 2011 that I had expected to find. I have no idea what was happening in 2011 or really even who was on the roster at this point so let’s find out.

All Wheels Wrestling (June 29, 2011)

Long time readers of this here site will know that I’m a huge fan of weird one off wrestling shows and failed promotions so when I heard that TNA did a pilot for a separate racing-themed wrestling promotion for a motorsports channel known as the Speed Network back in 2011 and that this pilot episode was readily available online I cracked open a beer and fired up the sole episode of All Wheels Wrestling.

Urban Wrestling Federation First Blood (June 26, 2011)

So seven or so years ago there was a wrestling promotion that combined pro-grappling with hip-hop. This promotion, the Urban Wrestling Federation (heretofore UWF), aired a series of PPVs that are now on YouTube, which is how I found out about them. This is a review of their first show, First Blood.
