I found another random-ass episode of Wrestlicious online and since I had 20 minutes to kill decided, “Why not?” Today we’re taking a look at the sixth episode overall. IMDB has its original airdate listed as April 4, 2010, so that’s the date I’m going with since it was a syndicated show and the airdates I’ve seen listed are kind of all over the place. We start things off this week with a nervous Jimmy Hart. He’s apparently getting a new co-host and is worried that she might be a ditzy bimbo or a stick in the mud. His co-host turns out to be Leyla Milani. Apparently she was the runner-up in the 2005 WWE Diva Search. Since that was one of the periods during which I wasn’t watching wrestling I’ve never seen her before.

In 2008, a man by the name of Jonathan Vargas won a Powerball lottery jackpot of $35.3 million. He, as so many lottery winners are wont to do, decided to partner with “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart and one of the former producers of GLOW (the 80s campy wrestling version not the critically acclaimed Netflix show) to create a women’s professional wrestling league. Wrestlicious is the result of this partnership.
