WWE Saturday Morning Slam (April 27, 2013)

Saturday Morning Slam

I’ve been putting this one off for awhile as it’s the last episode of Saturday Morning Slam I’ve been able to find online and there was something comforting about know I’ve got 20 minutes of G-Rated wrestling goofiness waiting for me whenever I wanted to watch it. Today I figured is as good a day as any, so without further ado here’s the April 27, 2013 episode of WWE Saturday Morning Slam!

WWE Saturday Morning Slam (April 20, 2013)

Saturday Morning Slam

Voice Over Guy welcomes us to a “heart-stopping” installment of Saturday Morning Slam. Somehow a show that promises to stop hearts is okay to show to small children but images of random blows to the head are no go.

Voice Over Guy continues by saying that Saturday Morning Slam GM, Mick Foley, is going to make a major announcement. Camera crews have apparently caught up with the GM, so let’s see what this major announcement is!

WWE Saturday Morning Slam (February 23, 2013)

Saturday Morning Slam

My quest to watch and review every single episode of WWE Saturday Morning Slam rolls on! Today I’m checking out the episode from February 23, 2013. As is always the case with Saturday Morning Slam, this episode begins with shots of the crowd as Voice Over Guy welcomes us and hyperbolically hypes up the matches will be getting this morning. WWE Diva Champion Kaitlyn will be taking on Natalya in the main event, but first one half of the Usos, Jey Uso, will be in action with the recently returned Jack Swagger.

Good morning Saturday Morning Slammers, it’s time for another all action episode of everyone’s favorite circa 2013 Saturday morning wrestling program aimed at small children: Saturday Morning Slam. WWE Saturday Morning Slam (March 9, 2013)

Saturday Morning Slam

“Chaos has run amok. The WWE roster is in disarray. Alliances forged. Allegiances questioned. Who can you trust? These are dark and turbulent times. Will a leader rise? The very fate of Saturday Morning Slam hangs in the balance!”

Christ alive is this pre-opening shitrock theme voiceover over the top or what? The fate of Saturday Morning Slam? It’s a goofy wrestling show for 8 year old boys and they decided to start it off with Movie Preview Guy growling about chaos?

WWE Saturday Morning Slam (March 2, 2013)

Saturday Morning Slam

At some point I will run out of Satuday Morning Slam episodes to review since the show lasted but a single season, but that day is not today my friends! A severe sounding Voice Over Guy informs us that things have gotten out of control here on Saturday Morning Slam and so today Booker T will announce a general manager for Saturday Morning Slam to get things back under control.

WWE Raw 25 (January 22, 2018)

raw_25_logo.png

Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw coming to you live from the Manhattan Center with your hosts Good Ol’ JR and Jerry “The King” Lawler. We’ve got the old wailing siren of yore and the entire thing is set up like an episode of Raw from 1993, complete with an ICOPRO banner.

Lawler promises that this will be the most memorable Raw ever. It would turn out that he was either gravely mistaken or outright lying…

WWE Mixed Match Challenge (January 16, 2018)

WWE Mixed Match Challenge Logo

Over the past couple years the WWE has kind of played around with how WWE wrestling has been presented. We’ve had tournaments for cruiserweights, British dudes, and women as well as stuff like Southpaw Regional Wrestling. Late last year they announced that they were partnering with Facebook for a Facebook exclusive program titled Mixed Match Challenge which would be a tournament pitting intergender duos against each other in an effort to win a $100,000 to be donated to a charity of their choosing. This is the first installment of that show.
