WWE 205 Live (November 7, 2017)

We start things off with a recap of Pete Dunne showing up on Raw last night and beating the fuck out of Enzo at the behest of General Manager, Kurt Angle. Enzo was none too pleased in the post-match interview they showed.

We get the opening video deal and then it’s off to Manchester, England for tonight’s episode of 205 Live. Our commentary team for the evening is, as usual, Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness. They spoil SmackDown and then run down the card for the evening before tossing it to the ring for the debut of…

WWE 205 Live (October 31, 2017)

wwe_205_live_logo_2016

We kick things off with highlights of Drew Gulak’s recent campaign against Akira Tozawa before the opening theme. From there we head to ringside where we are joined by Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Vic promises that this is guaranteed to be the spookiest edition of 205 Live ever, which I guess is accurate since it’s the first Halloween themed episode the show has ever had. He and Nigel run down tonight’s card and then it’s time for action. Safe, sensible action…

It’s time for some high flying, death defying crusierweight action. It’s time for 205 Live! Tonight we start things off with highlights from the SummerSlam Kickoff Show of Neville vs. Tozawa for the Cruiserweight Championship where Neville ends up winning his title back.

After the opening video we head to the arena. Vic Joseph and Corey Graves are on commentary. This apparently is the nightcap to SummerSlam Week according to Graves who gives us a rundown of the two huge matches we have tonight and then we head to the ring for action!

WWE 205 Live (July 11, 2017)

We kick things off with Tozawa talking Titus on speaker phone backstage. Titus says that Tozawa shouldn’t feel bad about how he beat Neville on Raw because due to that victory Titus should be able to get Tozawa another shot at the Cruiserweight Championship.

Daivari shows up and hangs up on Titus and then tells Tozawa that he doesn’t deserve a rematch and that he should worry about Daivari, not Neville since they have a match coming up next!

WWE 205 Live (July 4, 2017)

Titus O’Neil is backstage walking down a hallway and talking to Akira Tozawa (who is apparently in Japan training for his upcoming match with Neville) on the phone. He stops to talk to Ariya Daivari and asks him if his shirt is swelvet (a combination of silk and velvet), before continuing down the hall.

He stops to tell Mustafa Ali that he could be Muhammad Ali with a few more wins and then screams, “FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY STING LIKE A BEE!” at Mustafa Ali and scares him which causes Titus to declare, “Don’t worry son, I’m not gonna hit you.”

He tells Tozawa that he’s got to go since he’s heading out to kick off 205 Live in Phoenix right. He does Tozawa’s “HA!” chant and then heads out all fired up and doing his “HOOAH! HOOAH!” thing before the theme song plays.

WWE 205 Live (June 27, 2017)

wwe_205_live_logo_2016

We begin the show tonight with a video package of Titus O’Neil recruiting Tozawa and Tozawa and Neville going toe to toe in the ring this past Monday on Raw. Titus comes out and calls them dumb for wanting to fight now for free especially since he’s just gotten a match signed for Great Balls of Fire.

We get the opening video and then Corey Graves and Vic Joseph run down tonight’s card before throwing it backstage to Dasha who is standing by with Jack Gallagher.

Rich Swann and Tozawa are having a conversation in Japanese about Swann’s upcoming match with Neville. Swann says he’s going to dance his way into the title scene again. Titus O’Neil arrives to talk to Tozawa again. He says there could be a place in the Titus Brand for Swann too, but Swann’s like, “I’ll think about it, but I gotta go.” Titus tells him to do something about his hair because he’s not The Weeknd as Swann heads off.

Titus talks about how he’s ready to take the Titus Brand international and has a contract for Tozawa, but Tozawa just stares at him. Titus is like, “You drive a hard bargain,” and the offers Tozawa an extra 5% on his merchandise sales and talks about his idea for a Tozawa Towel (like the Terrible Towel but Tozawa based I suppose). Again Tozawa says nothing, so Titus tells him to think about it because on Raw next Monday he’ll have an offer that Tozawa can’t refuse.

NXT (April 26, 2017)

Nikki Cross slides into the ring and then rolls out and then creeps over to where the ring announcer is sitting. Nikki Cross bends over and talks into the microphone the ring announcer lady is holding in her lap.

“Ruuuby. Ruuuuby. Come out and play…”

Ruby Riot comes out to play. She and Nikki Cross head to the ring and have a stare down before they get down to the business at hand and start brawling. They roll out of the ring and and are fighting on the floor when referees and security show up to pull them apart. The refs and security do not succeed.

Cross looks like she’s bleeding from the arm. Riot and Cross keep breaking free and brawling. Eventually the officials get things under control and they drag Nikki Cross to the back.

Welcome to NXT!

WWE Royal Rumble 2017 (January 29, 2017)

I love gimmick matches and in my rather humble opinion there is no finer gimmick than the Royal Rumble. Thirty men enter. One man walks out with a shot a championship gold. There are usually some comedic spots, some decent in-ring action, and a surprise entrant or two that make it a must watch PPV, more so even than the Granddaddy of them all, WrestleMania. So how was the 2017 Rumble? Let’s find out.
